Farmers Market
|
| First market was deemed a success.
Had about ten vendors; not enough produce, however.
Some vendors could not get there because of high
water. We hope more will join the market on future
dates. |

Bicknell Farmers Market |
*Held every Saturday, 8 AM to
noon; vendors stay as long as they would like.
*Fund raiser tickets available where the flyers are
displayed, through-out the area. |

Youth and Recreation Committee |
| The Park Advisory Group
working with city parks has joined with Good Start.
They will make up the Youth and Recreation Committee. |

Gazebo Project |
A COLTS theme afghan has been
donated to Good Start to raise funds for a new gazebo
on Constitution Parkway. Tickets will go on sale soon;
winner will be drawn the last market of the season.
Former resident, Lois Lankford, made the afghan
and instructed that it be used in any way that
benefits Bicknell. Mrs. Barbara Privett suggested
using it toward the new gazebo; the committee
concurred.
Funds from an earlier beautification
committee (from 1969) have been ear-marked for the new
gazebo as well.

Corporation, established in the state of Indiana as of
July 17, 2008. Thanks to all who made it possible.
Bicknell Good START, Inc. looks forward to better
serving the needs of the Bicknell community as a
not-for-profit organization. |

Luau in the Park |

| The Youth and Recreation Committee
(Park Advisory Committee) is planning a "Luau in the
Park" for the kids later in the year, to coincide with
the annual fireworks show. |
